I’m so excited to announce the release of the Muriel Top PDF pattern!

It has been an exciting journey leading up to the release the first pattern for Honey & Rose. From working with friends and family to finalise a custom sizing chart to sending off samples of the finished Muriel Top in early 2018 for testing in day-to-day life. After drafting the pattern and instructions, it was tested by some of the most wonderful people across the world. This was such an incredible and invaluable learning experience for me, and to see the first makes of the Muriel Top was truly encouraging and inspiring.

Named after my father’s mother, the Muriel Top is a semi-fitted women’s blouse. It has short sleeves and waist darts for an elegant shape. The pleat detail along the front neckline and bias edging give the Muriel Top a sense of style that inspires spending long weekends with friends and family or achieving your goals the workplace. The back opening is finished with a button and loop created using the excess binding, creating a completed look you can wear all year round.

Pattern Details

When you purchase the pattern it includes:
• PDF pattern files for sizes 8-16 and 16-24 suitable to print on A4 or US Letter (20 pages) or copyshop/large format
• Full colour photograph and instructions (24 pages, including instructions on how to assemble the PDF pattern)
• Copyshop/large format permission letter

The Muriel Top is suitable to sewers with a beginner/intermediate skill level. Setting/easing in sleeves and attaching bias strip around neckline the hardest steps. Lightweight woven fabrics such as rayon, viscose, cotton voile, cotton lawn and linen are recommended.
